Intrinsically Safe (I.S.) Radio Remote Controls
For wireless control in the most volatile environments, FJS Consulting manufactures and supplies MASC-certified Intrinsically Safe Transmitters. These units are specifically engineered for use in Group I (Mining) and Group II (Surface) hazardous locations where explosive gases or dust are present.
Protection Type: Certified as Intrinsically Safe [Ex ia], ensuring that any electrical or thermal energy is limited to levels that cannot ignite an explosive atmosphere.

Intrinsically Safe Sensors
Our MASC-certified intrinsically safe barriers provide critical protection for power and data lines entering hazardous locations. Designed and manufactured in-house by FJS Consulting, these units ensure that electrical energy is limited to prevent the ignition of explosive atmospheres.
Power & Communication Barrier: A dual-purpose barrier housed in a non-metallic enclosure. It provides essential protection for both power lines and RS485 communication lines.
RF Barrier: Specialized protection for high-frequency output lines. Housed in a metallic enclosure and fully encapsulated, it is specifically designed to safely power antennas in volatile environments.
Ex Marking: [Ex\ ia] I(Intrinsically Safe for Mining).
Certification Standard: Fully compliant with SANS 60079-11: 2024 for intrinsic safety.
Installation: Designed to be installed within a flameproof enclosure for maximum secondary protection.
Flameproof Enclosures & Control Panels
We design, assembly, and supply of Flameproof Enclosures engineered to contain any internal explosion and prevent the ignition of the surrounding atmosphere. Our panels are the preferred choice for housing PLCs, motor starters, and radio receiver interfaces in coal mines and petrochemical plants.
Protection Classes: Ex d (Flameproof), Ex e (Increased Safety), and Ex t (Dust Ignition Protection).

Copper-Free Aluminium: Lightweight and corrosion-resistant for general underground use.
