DUAL-AXIS CAN BUS ANGLE SENSOR

DAS-C

Description

The DAS-C is a dual-axis, CAN bus angle sensor that utilizes a CAN interface to provide precise inclination data, measuring slope relative to the horizontal plane within a range of ±45°.

The sensor is powered by a high-accuracy accelerometer IC; should the inclination exceed the operational range, the value is automatically trimmed to ±45°. To ensure peak performance, each unit is factory-calibrated at 25°C and features integrated hardware and software filters to mitigate vibration interference.

Technical Specifications & Connectivity

  • Protocol Compliance: The CAN bus meets CAN 2.0b specifications and supports the CANopen protocol.

  • Data Transmission: Inclination values are transmitted cyclically across the bus.

  • Customization: Key parameters—including node ID, transmission intervals, and baud rates (up to 500kb/s) — are stored in permanent memory for application-specific configuration.

Installation & Alignment

The DAS-C is designed for streamlined deployment, featuring a built-in bubble level and a metallic support. These integrated features allow for easy zero-point calibration without the need for additional components.
